Honestly there has been a bunch of feedback on this particular tip - both positive and negative. Enough so that I'm actually working on a follow up post dedicated to this specific issue. This is also good because if you inflate your tires inside a 78 degree house and then go out and ride in 100 degree weather, you could pop a tube pretty easily. Conversely, when you inflate inside and then go for a cold ride, you end up with lower pressure and run the risk of pinch flats or even just a bad ride because your tires are too soft. Solution: There are zippered mesh bags that women use to wash panty hose. I put my gloves in there, and wash them safely with the rest of my gear. This has the added advantage that since the gloves have the velcro on them, they tend to attatch to the insides of other pieces of clothes and you end up hunting all over for one missing glove. Inside the bag - they're all together.
